The Institute of Cost Accountants of India Visakhapatnam Chapter
About Us
Visakhapatnam Chapter was first established in 1960 as "The Cost Accountants Students Society in the city of Visakhapatnam (also known as the “City of Destiny,”) nestled between the Eastern Ghats and the Bay of Bengal. In 1965, it became the Visakhapatnam Chapter of Cost Accountants. Initially, classes were held in rented premises until 1990. In 1991, the Chapter inaugurated its own building, which boasts as the largest premises in Southern India. Over the years, the Chapter has provided oral coaching to more than 50,000 students, with over 1,000 achieving their CMA qualifications. Many alumni have reached top positions in large corporations both in India and abroad. The Chapter has received the Best Chapter Award twice and the Best Active Chapter Award once. The only Chapter in Andhra Pradesh completed 60 years and celebrated Diamond Jubilee in March 2025.
