About our Institute :
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India was established by a special Act of Parliament, namely, the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 as a statutory professional body for the regulation of the profession of cost and management accountancy in India. The Institute is largest Cost & Management Accounting body in the world having more than 6,00,000 students and 100,000 qualified professionals all over the globe. The Institute is headquartered at New Delhi operates through four regional councils at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata & Delhi and 113 Chapters situated across the country as well as 11 Overseas Centres. It is under the administrative control of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
