Communiqué from the Chairman,
Members’ Facilities & Services Committee.

| Respected Professional Colleagues,

|
| I once again express my thanks and gratitude to you for giving me an opportunity to serve
the Central Council. I feel privileged for being given the opportunity to head the Members’
Facilities & Services Committee as Chairman for another term (2016–17), for which I am
thankful to the President, Vice President and the Council, ICAI.
|
|
|
| During the year 2015-16, the main focus of the Committee was, among other things, on expanding
the membership base and on improving the interface between the esteemed members / prospective
members and the Institute. We shall continue on improving the service and I am delighted to
inform you that for all online payments related to membership, members will no longer need to
pay any convenience charge, as was done earlier, for payments made through netbanking/debit/credit
card. I urge and welcome members and new applicants to extensively use the “Members’ Online System”.

| I call upon all final passed students having the requisite experience to immediately
apply for Associate membership. I also urge members to avail the benefits of Members
Benevolent Fund (MBF) for the members of the Institute by becoming life members of the
MBF.
|
|
|
| I would also like to bring to the notice of members who have not yet paid membership
fees for 2016-17, that membership fee dues need to be paid by 30 September 2016 to
continue enjoying the benefits of membership.
|
|
|
| I once again take this opportunity to thank you all for your unflinching and continuous
support towards the Institute’s initiatives and activities.
